The family had a small number who faught in the Vietnam War. The soldiers were enlistees and not part of the Australian Government Conscription lottery that was used to fill the ranks. I guess the family can be lucky that none of our family was lost in battle or left with serious injuries and as for the 2nd World War, it is probably a blessing that non of them were killed during the conflict, but service certainly left its scars.
